A 59 Seconds Agile Article
This article provides an ‘Introduction to Successful Delivery with Scrum’ and looks to discuss the process for Demonstrating and Validating the Sprint
Successful Delivery with Scrum
The final aspect of improving your rate of successful deliveries is to look at your team’s mindset. The way you look at and deal with issues, obstacles, communication, changes, and anything else that impacts your development process can help you consistently create value.
Let’s take a look at how practicing empiricism can help your team achieve success. If there’s important information that pertains to your project that is kept hidden from the team, even unintentionally, it can greatly impact your chances for success.
Not having all of the information means that assumptions have to be made, which can lead to major setbacks and the lack of customer satisfaction. On the other hand, scrum encourages transparency, inspection, and adaptation, which are the three pillars of empiricism.
By practicing empiricism, you will introduce a greater amount of clarity and simplicity to your process, which allows your team to work more quickly to create value.

User Stories Applied
A 59 Seconds Agile Book Review
User Stories Applied by Mike Cohn is one of our favourite books on Agile User Stories. He then discusses how to go about writing a user story, and provides details of the INVEST criteria that can be used to determine if the story is meeting all of its objectives. Next Mike gives an in depth discussion of who user stories are written for and where to begin when gathering the details for them. The book then discusses acceptance testing user stories, including how to go about specifying these criteria and the responsibilities of the development team and customers during this process.
